Easy at Home Halloween Activities

With the introduction of the Welsh firebreak lockdown we wanted to bring you some easy and fun things to do at home.

1.Complete this spooky Halloween word search. Halloween Word Search

2. Watch a scary Halloween film. The Kidney Wales team have chosen some of their favourites for you.

Not so Scary

  • Casper
  • Edward Scissor Hands
  • Hocus Pocus
  • The Addams Family
  • Ghostbusters
  • The Witches
  • Scooby Doo

Very Scary

  • Sleepy Hollow
  • Halloween
  • Psycho
  • What We Do in the Shadows
  • The Shining
  • Rocky Horror Picture Show
  • Little Shop of Horrors
  • Poltergeist

3.Colour in Atticus the Halloween Cat. Print these images at home and enjoy some colour therapy at any age. Atticus The Halloween Cat

4.Participate in Inktober. This year’s prompts will certainly get you thinking outside the box. You can view other artists creations on their official Instagram page. @inktober and @inktober20

5.Make a Halloween themed playlist. If you use something like Spotify you can get your family and friends involved virtually too.

6.Make Welsh cakes in the shape of bats. We like this recipe from the BBC https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/welshcakes_67264

7.Make a sock teddy. Don’t throw out your odd or old socks, turn them into something cute. The fluffier the sock the better! Another top tip is to use an old bed pillow for stuffing.
