Staff, patients and families of the Childrens Kidney Centre UHW enjoyed the Chrismtas celebrations.

This was a great opportunity for everyone to let their hair down a little and celebrate the coming festivities. Entertained by Jasper the Clown they received a visit from Santa himself who happily gave the children presents and a happy day.

Kidney disease and renal failure predominantly affect individuals during their later years. However, there are a significant number of young children and teenagers who have to cope with the reality of kidney disease and renal failure on a daily basis.

Families depend on the centre for the life saving treatment they receive and emotional support.
