COVID-safe work place guidance

 

Welsh Government has announced that shielding guidance will be paused from 31 March 2021.  Whilst shielding remains very much a personal decision, this latest guidance means that as of the 1st April you can go to work, if you cannot work from home, as long as the business is Covid-secure (has taken reasonable measures to minimise risk to employees).

 

Welsh Government has published a COVID workforce risk assessment tool for different types of employment settings:

 

  • Health and social care (care homes and social services)
  • NHS
  • Education, childcare and youth work
  • Other work place settings
