Kidney Wales Supports Patients with Over £11,000 in Grants During First Quarter of Financial Year

Kidney Wales has provided vital financial support to dozens of kidney patients across Wales during the first quarter of its financial year, distributing more than £11,000 in grants to those in need.

Between April and June 2025, a total of 47 grants were processed, amounting to £11,101.70 in assistance. This funding forms a critical part of Kidney Wales’ ongoing mission to support individuals and families affected by kidney disease.

The grants included:

  • Financial Assistance Grants (up to £500 per applicant)
  • £200 in Food Vouchers
  • £200 in Wellbeing Carers’ Vouchers

These grants help to alleviate some of the financial pressure faced by kidney patients and their careers, covering essential costs such as replacing white goods, utility bills, house maintenance, and food and wellbeing support.
