Take on the 60 for Sixty Challenge

In 2027, Kidney Wales celebrates 60 years of supporting people affected by kidney disease across Wales.

To mark this milestone, we’re inviting supporters, communities, schools, workplaces, friends, and families to take part in 60 for Sixty – a flexible fundraising challenge designed for everyone.

Whether you raise £60, walk 60 miles, organise a 60-minute fundraiser, or create your own challenge, every action will help raise awareness and vital funds to support people affected by kidney disease.

What is 60 for Sixty?

60 for Sixty is a year-long challenge running from May 2026 to May 2027.

The idea is simple:
 Choose a “60-themed” challenge that works for you and help support Kidney Wales throughout our 60th anniversary year.

Your challenge can be completed:

• Individually
• With friends or family
• At work or school
• In your local community

There’s no right or wrong way to take part,  just choose something achievable, enjoyable, and meaningful to you.

Need inspiration? Here are a few ways you could get involved:

• Raise £60
• Walk, run, or cycle 60 miles
• Complete 60 minutes of activity
• Bake or sell 60 items
• Organise a 60-minute fundraiser
• Walk 60,000 steps
• Complete 60 acts of kindness
• Host a coffee morning or quiz
• Share kidney health information with 60 people

You can keep it simple or challenge yourself; every contribution makes a difference.

Set up your fundraising page and share it with friends, family, and colleagues.

4. Complete Your Challenge

Track your progress, share updates, and celebrate your achievements throughout the year.

There is a £6 entry fee to take part in the 60 for Sixty challenge.

As a thank you for supporting Kidney Wales, all participants will receive:

• A certificate of participation
• A thank-you message recognising their fundraising achievements at the end of the campaign

Every contribution helps support people affected by kidney disease across Wales.

Every donation helps Kidney Wales continue supporting people and families affected by kidney disease across Wales.
