Teifi Valley Motor Club donates £2,875 to Kidney Wales following successful Rali Bro Teifi 2025

Kidney Wales is delighted to have received a generous donation of £2,875 from Teifi Valley Motor Club following the success of Rali Bro Teifi 2025.

The event, organised as a Targa Rally featuring 23 tests on private land, brought together competitors, volunteers, sponsors and supporters from across Wales, raising an incredible £5,750. The proceeds were shared equally between Kidney Wales and Sands, with each charity receiving £2,875.

The donation has particular significance for the organising team. Clerk of the Course Aled Richards and his family have experienced first-hand the impact of kidney disease after his daughter, Hawys, was diagnosed with Stage 5 Chronic Kidney Disease. Following her treatment and a successful kidney transplant, the family has continued to support Kidney Wales through fundraising and raising awareness of kidney disease.

The funds raised through Rali Bro Teifi 2025 will help Kidney Wales continue supporting people living with kidney disease across Wales. Every year, the charity provides financial grants, food vouchers, wellbeing support, patient information and funding for equipment that improves the care and experience of kidney patients and their families.

Speaking about the event, Teifi Valley Motor Club Chairman Emyr Davies said:
