Join over 27,500 runners take on the iconic 13.1 mile course around the capital.

General entries sold out in a record time, but you can still be part of this special event by joining Team Kidney Wales. Run for Kidney Wales and we will provide you with everything you need to help us raise funds and awareness of Kidney Disease, while challenging yourself to take on this brilliant race.

Here are 3 reasons why we need your support at the 2025 Cardiff Half Marathon:

1. Fight a Leading Health Crisis: Kidney disease is the 10th biggest killer worldwide, yet it often receives less attention than other major illnesses. Supporting Kidney Wales helps bring critical awareness and resources to a condition that affects millions.
2. Support Where It’s Most Needed: Kidney Wales doesn’t receive any government funding, meaning it relies solely on public support to continue its vital work. By fundraising, you’re directly contributing to essential services and advocacy for those battling kidney disease.
3. Help People Facing a Lifelong Challenge: With no cure for kidney disease, only treatments to manage it, patients face ongoing challenges every day. Your support ensures that Kidney Wales can be there for the 20 people diagnosed daily and their families, providing the care and support they need.

All Kidney Wales fundraisers will receive a running top for race day (upon reaching £125 of their fundraising target), a fundraising pack and the full support of the Kidney Wales fundraising team to reach your personal fundraising goal.

Kidney Wales have a small number of charity bond places for this event, these are free to obtain however there is a minimum fundraising amount per space of £250. (£125 of this must be raised by the 31st of August 2025).
