Donate Wales welcomes the re-appointment of Health and Social Services Minister

The Kidney Wales Foundation, has welcomed the announcement that Edwina Hart AM has been reappointed as Minister for Health and Social Services.

Roy J. Thomas, Executive Chairman of the Kidney Wales Foundation and Chair of the Donate Wales Campaign said:

"We welcome the re-appointment of the Minister and look forward to working with her closely on the need for reform of Wales’ organ donation and transplant systems. Since 2008 over 60,000 extra people have joined the Organ Donor Register in Wales, we want to work with the Minister to ensure this growth continues."
