Dr Kate Verrier Jones, Honorary Senior Lecturer in Paediatric Nephrology and husband Roger will be opening their garden, Greenfields, Newport Road, St Mellons, CF3 5TW, on Sunday 5th June from 12 noon to 6pm through the National Gardens Scheme to raise money for the Welsh Kidney Patient Association and other charities supported by the National Gardens Scheme.
In addition to the opportunity to enjoy a stroll around the garden and enjoy the flowers there will be cream teas with scones and cakes, licensed Pimms bar, face painting and sales of plants, jewellery, scarves and books. The aim is to provide an excellent afternoon out and good value for money.
All are welcome, admission fee £2-50, children under 12 years free if accompanied by an adult.
Limited disabled access to most areas, gravel drive.
Follow the yellow NGS signs to Greenfields, Newport Road (B4487) 3 miles East of Cardiff, 1/4 mile West of St Mellons Village, Parking at Fox and Hounds Old Hill or Quarry Hall Old People’s Home.
