Introducing our ‘Let’s Talk’ information and support drop in sessions - Kidney Wales

Introducing our ‘Let’s Talk’ information and support sessions with our Patient Information and Support Manager, Brett.

You asked and we listened. You said you wanted a more informal way to engage with us, so today we are launching our virtual drop-in sessions.

Brett will be hosting regular meets on zoom to check in with our Welsh kidney community. These are informal catch ups, with anyone and everyone welcome to drop in for 5minutes or 45 minutes to ask questions, share good news or air worries they may be feeling.

With ‘Let’s Talk’ we want to create a safe and open space for you to have a conversation about topics that are on your mind. We won’t be recording these sessions, but don’t worry if you can’t make it every time. We will be hosting these sessions regularly, and plan to trial having them at different times to accommodate people who may be in work or on dialysis.

These sessions will be guided by what you as patients, carers, family members would like covered. You have the opportunity to speak in a safe space and to talk freely about your needs.

Join our Facebook community group to be the first to hear about the ‘Let’s Talk’ chats.

The next session, ‘Let’s Talk: World Kidney Day’, will be held on March 10th at 1:30pm
