Why do people say ‘no’ to a kidney transplant? Understanding patient decision making and choice. A constructivist grounded theory study
A research project led by Bangor University PhD research student Emma Jones supported by Kidney Wales, are inviting patients who have previously declined a kidney transplant to be part of their study. The study aims to better understand how people with kidney failure make choices about choosing not to have a kidney transplant.
Emma is inviting people who would like to share their view’s, attitudes and experiences to the research:
- We would like to hear from anyone who has decided they do not want a kidney transplant
- Adults aged over 18years who have chosen not to have a kidney transplant
The study will involve talking to Emma in an individual interview.
If you are interested in taking part or would like more information about the study, please contact Emma by email [email protected] or by telephone 07522 627230.
