Kidney Wales Hosts Heartwarming Christmas Party for Children with CKD

On December 1st, children living with CKD and their families were invited to the Kidney Wales Children’s Christmas Party at The Marriott Hotel Cardiff. This was the first time the event had been held since 2019 and welcomed 77 children and their families for an afternoon of smiles, giggles, and fun.

The highlight of the event was a special appearance by Santa Claus, who delighted the children by listening to their Christmas wishes and posing for memorable photos. Each child had the opportunity to meet Santa, creating cherished memories for families to treasure.

The party included various Christmas-themed activities such as crafts, music, and magic, ensuring children had a wonderful time. Some healthcare professionals also attended, giving them a chance to interact with the children and families in a non-medical setting.
