Marie Curie would like to hear about your experiences of bereavement
Next week Marie Curie will be hosting two sessions open to those who have experienced loss and bereavement. The charity says when someone dies, we may not be prepared for the emotional or practical impact, and they would like your help in developing the information and support offered at such a difficult time.
If you have been bereaved and feel you would be able to talk about it in a small group, they would be very grateful for your help. Marie Curie are hoping to hear about your experiences of bereavement, what help you had, what help you needed, and what you wish you had known.
Two small discussion groups will be open to people from all across Wales, from all communities. They want to hear your thoughts.
The two sessions will be:
-
2pm, Thursday 31 March – in person at Diverse Cymru offices in Cardiff
-
10.30am, Friday 1 April – online
If you would be willing to participate in one of these sessions, please contact [email protected]
This is a sensitive subject, and you are assured care and support during the discussion. If at any time you want to take a break, or talk in private at a later time, that will be perfectly fine and understood.
They would very much appreciate your help in improving support for others.
