This year’s Kidney Wales Reflections carol service was the most successful ever with more than 380 people cramming Cardiff’s St John’s Church for a feast of festive hymns and readings as well a delicious helping of mince pies and wine!
The service, which took place on December 9, capped another fantastic year for Kidney Wales and included performances by choirs Choirs Cor Aelwyd CF1 and Ysgol Berllan Deg, as well as a rousing set by BBC 1’s Last Choir Standing winners Only Men Aloud!.
The choir’s founder and musical director Tim-Rhys Evans is one of Kidney Wales newest patrons and after the service said how they all enjoyed performing in front of Kidney Wales’ many supporters. Readers included S4c’s Alex Jones, world renowned harpist Catherine Finch, and the BBC’s Rhun ap Iorwerth.
