Thank you to our Board this Trustees’ Week

1st-5th November 2021

Trustees’ week is back. The weeklong event is here to showcase the valuable work Trustees do. Volunteering their time and skills to make a difference.

#TrusteesWeek

Thank you to all of our Kidney Wales Trustees for playing vital roles on our board, working hard and bringing their dedication to their roles.

Billy Stephens joined the Kidney Wales board of Trustees in 2019. Bringing with him a wealth of experience and his insight to life living with a chronic condition.

Billy says, “I have been a Trustee for Kidney Wales for the past two years.”

“As a patient myself, I know how important support is when trying to live with kidney disease. Over the past 18 years, my family have supported me through the highs and lows of being a transplant patient.”

“I became a Trustee for this amazing charity because I believe in the vital work Kidney Wales does. It is important to me that we continue to be devoted to supporting our kidney community throughout Wales. For over 50 years, Kidney Wales has been at the forefront of supporting kidney patients and their families in Wales.”

“I am proud of all the work Kidney Wales has done, especially being there for patients during challenging times throughout the COVID-19 pandemic”.

“Since becoming a Trustee I have gained a real appreciation for my fellow board members and our staff team. I am honoured to be a Trustee of Kidney Wales.”

Our Trustees are passionate about Kidney Wales, they use their skills, knowledge and perspectives to support a cause they care deeply about.

Thank you again to our outstanding Trustees for continuing to volunteer their time to help us support families and change lives.
