We turned 55 in May, and you’ve been helping us mark the occasion!
Kidney Wales launched in 1967, when the only renal unit in Wales, at the Cardiff Royal Infirmary, had limited resources to treat patients with total kidney failure.
With the help and dedication of our brilliant and supportive Kidney Community, the charity has gone from strength to strength, achieving some huge successes, with even bigger plans for the future.
At 55 years old the charities emphasis continues to develop based on the needs of the kidney patients and families throughout Wales. Our vision today is to ‘Unite the Welsh kidney community to enable world class care, support, and well-being services’.
You have been helping us mark this milestone for nearly two months by fundraising and lending your fabulous faces to be part of our birthday poster.
We still need a few more fundraisers to help us complete the poster and get it up on the wall! You can join in the celebration whilst raising vital funds, funds that will help deliver future projects for our kidney community in Wales today, click here to find out more about our birthday campaign.
You will be helping us mark this milestone and continue to be there for patients and families
