Pupils from Westbourne School, Penarth were involved in a sponsored skip to raise money for Kidney Wales.

Allison John, a Kidney Wales representative, spoke to the pupils and gave them an insight onto how Kidney Wales saved her life. So far pupils raised over £880 to support this event. Allison, who has received 4 transplants (heart, lung, kidney and liver), spoke to years 3- 11 about her incredible story. Pupils and staff were moved by her immense courage. It made the skip worthwhile as well as great fun.

Kidney Wales would like to thank the staff and pupils of Westbourne School for the extra special effort made by all. Their energies and efforts will go forward towards supporting medical treatment and patient care.
